Pastellblau

A cool breeze wafts into the room from the open window. It's the middle of the night and it's chilly out. Far too chilly to leave the window wide open and sit on the blanket, my nightgown barely enough to do anything to warm my body. I try to stay still and not glance at the clock. It should be long after midnight now and I can't help but get nervous. Would she come tonight? If she didn't, would I just sit here and wait in vain? I have to sleep sometime. I know she sleeps during the day, mostly. Again I wonder if I could get used to that. If I slept during the day, being up all night wouldn't take as much of a toll on me anymore. Then again
